Getting started with beams

Getting started with beams is easy! In this section, we’ll walk you through all the steps to get up and running.

There are two beams products that you can use:

• the beams Mac menu bar app that guides you through your day from the top of your screen
• the beams Web app providing you insights into your SaaS tool usage, calendar health and meeting habits

The beams menu bar app gently guides you through your day from the top of your screen. In this section, we’ll help you get started and answer some common questions. ✨

Getting started and setting up your account

After downloading beams from our Website, drag the icon into your applications folder and open it from there.

Once you open beams for the first time, you will see a Welcome screen. From there you will be guided through an onboarding flow:

• Log in to beams by entering your email. You will then receive a magic link email to confirm your identity (no need for a password).
• Connect your Google Account and select your calendar(s)
• Get a walkthrough through our mist important features and settings

Then you’re all set and can get started :)
